We have kittens!

We had a litter of precious Ragdoll kittens born June 13, 2024. Please visit our Available Kittens page for details.

Thank you for your interest in our kittens!

Ragdoll Kitten Adoption Process

STEP 1:

Submitting an adoption application is the first step in our adoption process. We want our kittens to go to loving homes, and we want you to take home the kitten you always dreamed of, so the more detail you can provide on your application, the better! Upon your application’s approval, you will be added to our official waitlist.

Submit an Adoption Application

STEP 2:

Waitlist members are the first to be notified when kittens become available at 8 weeks of age and will have 48 hours to complete the reservation process before kittens will be made available to others. I will email an adoption agreement that contains our 5-year genetic health guarantee as well as other terms and conditions of sale. Please review the Conditions of Sale noted at the bottom of this page. A signed adoption agreement and a $350 deposit are required to reserve a kitten. Please note that the deposit will apply toward the final cost of the kitten. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to future litters for a period of up to two years.

STEP 3:

As you prepare for your new kitten’s arrival, please check out our Caring for Your New Ragdoll Kitten page and our Products We Love for Our Ragdolls page. Also be sure to book an appointment with a veterinarian. Your kitten must be seen by a veterinarian within 72 hours of transfer in order to maintain the general health guarantee, and many veterinarians recommend booking at least two weeks in advance, so it’s important to plan ahead. The remaining balance for your kitten is due by the scheduled go-home date. For more information on pricing, please see below.

Prepare for Your New Kitten’s Arrival

STEP 4:

Welcome Your New Ragdoll to Your Family

Our kittens are ready for their forever homes after they have recovered from their spay or neuter surgeries around 16 weeks of age. You have 3 different options for pickup/delivery:

  1. Local Colorado Springs Pickup: You can pick up your kitten from our home.

  2. Colorado Springs Airport or Denver International Airport Pickup: Out of state buyers can meet me at the Colorado Springs or Denver airport. I will transport your kitten to the Colorado Springs airport free of charge. I do charge a $100 fee for pickup at the Denver airport.

  3. Flight Nanny Delivery: In-flight pet nannies are also a great option if you live out of state. Arrangements should be made directly between you and the transport provider. I would be happy to refer you to a trusted flight nanny upon request.

Congratulations on the newest addition to your family!

Multiple Kitten Discount

As the kings and queens in our breeding program retire, we may occasionally have adult Ragdolls available for adoption. These cats have been spayed/neutered and are ready for their forever homes. Please contact us for availability and pricing.

Retired Breeding Cats

We will sell kittens with breeding rights to registered catteries that hold similar values to our own. If you are interested in a breeding quality Ragdoll kitten, please contact us for more information.

Conditions of Sale

  • All deposits are nonrefundable. Please read this policy carefully before placing a deposit.

“Buyer acknowledges and agrees that Buyer will forfeit the deposit and any rights to the Cat if

    (a) Buyer fails to complete the purchase of the Cat for any reason, or

    (b) Buyer fails to pay the balance of the Purchase Price by the transfer date.

In either event, Breeder shall be free to sell the Cat to another party.

In the event that the Cat is not available due to sickness, death, or any other circumstance owning to the fault of the Breeder, Buyer’s deposit will, at Buyer’s option, be either (i) refunded or (ii) transferred to the next available cat/kitten.”

  • I offer a three-day General Health Guarantee to protect against illness contracted prior to a cat/kitten leaving my cattery and a Genetic Health Guarantee to protect against inherited genetic diseases during the first five years of the cat/kitten’s life.

My first priority in breeding is to maintain the health and wellbeing of all my kittens. I urge you to reach out to me if your cat/kitten develops any health issues. I will work with you to the best of my ability.

“General Health Guarantee. Breeder guarantees that the Cat is generally and reasonably healthy at the time Buyer takes possession of the Cat (unless otherwise indicated and agreed on by Breeder and Buyer). The General Health Guarantee does not cover stress-related conditions such as mild upper respiratory illnesses.

If, pursuant to the above process, Buyer’s chosen veterinarian determines and makes a written record that the Cat has a chronic or serious health problem, […]then Breeder will, at Breeder’s discretion, enact one of the following two options:

    i. Agree to pay for treatment of the diagnosed illness up to 50% of the Purchase Price of the Cat, or

ii. Require Buyer to return the Cat to Breeder within seventy-two (72) hours and then, upon receipt of Cat, either (i) promptly refund entire Purchase Price, or (ii) deliver a replacement kitten from Breeder’s next available litter. Buyer must pay for any shipping and any other miscellaneous charges associated with the transport of such kitten.

Genetic Health Guarantee. Breeder guarantees that the Cat is free from any genetic disorders or conditions that will significantly impact the Cat’s overall lifespan or activity, such as hormonal abnormalities, clotting disorders, and the like. The Genetic Health Guarantee does not include allergies, dermatitis, heart murmurs, bite malocclusions, tail faults, undescended testicles, nor does it include other minor conditions such as ear infections, urinary tract infections, or the like.

If, prior to the expiration of the five-year period, the Cat is diagnosed with a genetic disorder or condition that will significantly impact the Cat’s overall lifespan or activity, and if such disorder or condition is confirmed in writing by two veterinarians (one veterinarian to be of Buyer’s choosing and expense and one veterinarian to be of Breeder’s choosing and expense), then Buyer shall have one of the following two options:

    i. Keep the Cat. Should Buyer choose to keep the Cat, Breeder will refund 50% of the price that was originally paid for the Cat. Such 50% refund applies only to the Purchase Price of the Cat and does not apply to any testing, veterinary bills, shipping, or travel costs that Buyer might incur. Buyer understands that, in choosing this option, any and all guarantees of the Cat’s health are null and void.

ii. Relinquish the Cat to Breeder. Should Buyer choose to relinquish the Cat to Breeder, Breeder will deliver to Buyer a replacement kitten from Breeder’s next available litter. Buyer must pay for any shipping and any other miscellaneous charges associated with the transport of such kitten.”

  • Please, do not declaw your cat/kitten. Simply Ragdolls views this surgery inhumane as it involves amputating the last joint of the cat’s toes and is known to cause pain.

“Buyer warrants that the Cat will not be declawed. Declawed cats may develop physical, emotional, and behavioral problems such as poor balance, insecurity, biting, and poor litter box use. Declawing the Cat shall cause all health guarantees to become null and void.”

  • Since Ragdolls are bred to have a docile temperament, they lack may of the survival skills necessary for life outdoors. They should not be allowed outside unless under direct supervision.

“Buyer warrants that the Cat will be housed in a clean, indoor area of adequate size for exercise and will not be confined to a cage as a way of life, nor will the Cat be allowed to roam freely outside. Buyer understands that violation of this clause shall cause all health guarantees to become null and void.”

  • All kittens are sold as pets and will be spayed/neutered before leaving my home. The only exceptions are kittens purchased as breeding cats.

“If purchased as a pet, Breeder will have the Cat spayed/neutered before transferring ownership to Buyer.”

  • Adopting a Ragdoll is a long-term commitment. However, I do understand that life happens and circumstances change. Please contact me if you cannot keep your Ragdoll for any reason. I will gladly help you find a good home or take the cat/kitten myself.

“Under no circumstances will this Cat be sold, leased, or given away to any pet store, animal shelter, research laboratory, breeding mill, or an agent for any such business or facility.

Buyer agrees to never relinquish the Cat to a shelter.

If, for any reason, at any time in the Cat’s life, Buyer cannot retain ownership of the Cat, Buyer will immediately notify Breeder. Breeder will, at Breeder’s discretion, either help Buyer find a new home for the Cat or take possession of the Cat at no cost to Breeder.”
