Please browse the categories below to learn more about products I recommend. The products marked with a heart are those that we already use and love for our Ragdoll kittens and full grown Ragdoll cats. Other products are provided as alternatives and as items I have been eyeing myself! You may click on any of the pictures to be directed to that item.

Kitten Essentials

I have linked the food I feed my kittens and adult cats as well as some of the food dishes I recommend. Stainless steel and ceramic dishes are preferable to plastic, as plastic dishes can cause chin acne.

Cats love to drink from running water. Purchasing a filtered drinking fountain can help keep your cat hydrated. Again, I recommend stainless steel or ceramic.

I suggest an open or cubby-style litter box. If you use one with a flap, it may be a good idea to leave the flap up until your kitten gets used to it. I’ve also linked the litter my cats use, though you can get it a bit cheaper at Costco. I recommend having some on hand to make for a seamless transition.

Health and Grooming Supplies

Regular grooming is important to keep your Ragdoll kitten clean and healthy. Here are some of the products we use regularly. Please check with your veterinarian to see if these supplements are right for your cat or kitten.

Cat Furniture

Cat trees are great to give your Ragdoll kitten the the chance to climb and jump without ruining your furniture! Plus, it’s a place they can feel safe and comfortable. I also suggest scratching posts and/or boards around the house. We strategically place ours near the furniture our cats would otherwise like to scratch.

Toys

Don’t forget toys! Any toys that roll, bounce, jingle, or flutter are probably a safe bet. Here are a few of our Ragdoll kittens’ favorites.

Travel

I highly recommend a kitten carrier to safely pick up your kitten and travel to and from the veterinarian’s office. The ones I’ve linked are also TSA approved. For long journeys, also consider a portable litter box and water dispenser.

Cleaning Products and Home Savers

Many traditional cleaning products are toxic to pets. Instead, we alternate among the products below, along with good old fashioned baking soda and white vinegar.
